London painter and watercolourist, nephew of George Cattermole.
He painted historical and other figurative subjects in a style similar to that of his uncle, and exhibited mainly at the NWS and SS, also a few pictures at the Royal Academy and the British Institute, Elected ARI 1864 and a full member in 1870.
