Aldo Balding 1960 Born Portsmouth, Hampshire 1983-1985 Southampton College Faculty of Design Diploma in Illustration 1985 - 1999. Working as a freelance illustrator. Work has appeared on numerous front covers including Sunday Times Culture Magazine and the TV Times. Many illustrations for Punch, Summerhouse Publishing, Addison Wesley Longman, Coca-Cola, Guinness Worldwide, Tia Maria and posters for JVC Campaign and the feature film, What's cooking?. Other works include five locomotive illustrations for reproduction as collectors aerograms for Royal Mail, paintings for the opening title sequence of the new film Adventures of Don Quixote and five paintings on the Theme of Entertainment for the Pitcher & Piano, Battersea. Portrait commissions include the Miss Pears winner 1996. 2000 Portrait included in the BP Awards 2000 in The National Portrait Gallery. 2001 Group exhibition at Medici Gallery Summer Show.
