Nick Hebditch. Nick Hebditch was born in Calcutta in 1959, but has lived in the U.K. ever since. He studied at Canterbury College of Art and Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham. Where he specialized in Fine Art, developing a style of Geometric Abstract painting. Since leaving, foreign travel has generated an interest in Architectural subject matter, Which still continues to influence him. This has led to three distinct, but interrelated working methods: Watercolour, Printing, and Mixed Media. A leader of a Contemporary Art Group for South East of England during the Eighties, Nick Hebditch has taught Art part-time in his home Town of Tonbridge in Kent since 1988. He has exhibited widely in London and S.E.England, Including The Royal Academy, The Mall and Westminster Galleries, as well as in Europe and the Middle East. His work can be found in many Private and Corporate collections in the U.K and Abroad. Nick was selected in the Summer of 2001 to undertake the design for London Undergrounds "Simply Open House" Poster, which could be seen displayed in most underground stations, and on the accompanying leaflets.
